A lot of people arriving close to retirement start thinking of the way of life they will want as well as how much will cost things once they only get their pensions.
Bulgaria is a great country where you can find various landscapes going from snow-capped peaks to the sea and sandy beaches of the Black Sea.
The country has become a very attractive place for foreigners over the past decade. And those people all want the same thing, which is to enjoy great landscapes at low cost, and maybe buy a property in Bulgaria which will obviously cost them much less than in the UK or France.
The biggest demand made by foreigners when it comes to real estate in Bulgaria involves residential property. Many people from Europe and other countries as well want to buy a property in Bulgaria to establish holiday retreats.
Additionally, investors from around the world are becoming more involved in the ownership of business or commercial real estate in some of the major cities in Bulgaria, most particularly in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital and the big cities around the Black Sea.
Cyprus is also a very popular country and a fantastic holiday destination. It is the third-largest island in the Mediterranean which attracts almost three million tourists every year.
But the south of the island which is now part of the European Union has become an expensive place to live and to buy properties on which has led people to try their luck on the other side.
The north of Cyprus, which is a different country with a different government, has been attracting less tourists and as a result, prices have been much lower for properties.
